Kruti is interviewed, and she shares what a typical doctor visit might look like for her. She also discusses how much insurance covers her hearing aids as hearing aids are essential for her to function throughout the day. We are working together to create a safe space to discuss and acknowledge disabilities, especially in the South Asian community. Kruti has written an op-ed that has been published in Newsweek. She discusses what is considered a disability, the differences between visible and invisible disabilities, disability gaps within the system we live in and how employers can make it more comfortable for people with disabilities to come forward.
