Thanks to my youngest for the help "on-site" with the tach and cookie hucking! As mentioned, the 066 needed a lowerend assist and it received new crank bearings & seals. This is the first in a 5 part series that will show the progression of the transformations from mild/stockly/sickly to wild with these two saws. In the end, the 661 will be M-Tronic-less and taking names. I could not move this video to the beginning of the build thread so it was deleted and re-posted. I did post all the commentary from the first upload on this version. Sorry for the inconvenience. Displacement numbers: 066 54 mm bore x 40mm stroke - 91.61cc 661 56mm bore x 37mm stroke - 91.12cc So around 1/2 of a cc difference in overall displacement since I bumbled that a little in the audio.... Timed runs as follows: 066 9.08, 9.42, 7.99 (leaning on it), & 8.57 661 9.36, 8.50, 8.49 8.77 & 9.42 (leaning on it) Evidently by looking at the timed runs, the 066 is the winner here. I could tell by feel that is had more down low as well. Tongue & cheek with the centripetal force yammering.... I am currently available for custom saw modifications.
