This is the first episode of our latest build, We bring in Marc's almost factory HT holden station wagon, complete with custom stick on chrome trim and a dirty fox tail on the aerial! Here at the Castlemaine Rod Shop we thought it was well over due for a birthday. So in the coming weeks we will do a complete overhaul on the running gear to show you what needs to be done. A 6ltr LS/4L65e Engine & trans combo has been selected to power the wagon. Wilwood disc brakes will stop it on the front and on the rears. A Rod Shop 9 inch diff will also be fitted. We will attempt to show you everything that needs to be done from the engine swap to fitting an EFI fuel pump and connecting the wiring loom. This episode we take the Wagon for its last drive with a Very under powered 186 holden 6cyl And we have some old fashioned fun with an engine blow up!! we hold it flat to see how long the old 186 can handle no oil and water!
