Kongar-ool Ondar - sygyt and kargyraa, followed by khomus playing.

This is a young Kongar-ool Ondar, probably on his first tour abroad. He accompanies himself on chanzy. His doshpulur is made by Marzhymal Ondar. The end roll of the film reads 4 8 1990, so it's 1990, probably the 4th of August (not April 8th). The square and the houses around it looks like it could be some Scandinavian town. But the town is eventually identified as Jelenia Góra, southwestern Poland. From the collection of VHS cassettes of Gennadi Tumat, copied by me in 1992. Published on Youtube: 15 August 2024.
