My Back Pages by The Byrds Covered by George DeVito

Not one of The Byrds biggest hits, but certainly one of their best. It was released as a single by them in '67 and turned out to be their last Top 40 hit in the US. Of course, it featured McGuinn's Rickenbacker 12 string which ,by then, had become their signature sound. Dylan wrote it in '64 but didn't perform it himself until '88. In the lyrics he seems to criticize himself for being sure that he knew everything and almost apologizes for his earlier political preachings. The sound is extremely difficult to replicate perfectly without an actual 12 string Ric, but like everyone else who has played it, I did my best to get it close(ish). Hope you enjoy.
