As always, thanks to Windii for the translations. btw, I cut a scene from Riders because nothing of real importance happens in it. But it does have a payoff to the robot Knuckles and Storm smashed up. It angrily chases after them with a group of robots. Not much, but a little gag and another payoff. I realize this video is a lot more just breaking down what happens in the story than my videos usually are. That's because these games are much more focused on plot than character arcs and themes. So there's not as much to talk about. But I did what I could. Also I quite like the almost movie-like feel of Zero Gravity's plot. I'm not too familiar with Pokémon, but it feels very similar to the kinds of sorties you see in Pokémon movies. I think. Someone correct me if that's not accurate. And the music in the first two Riders is killer and really adds to the vibe of the games really well. I would love to see a proper follow-up that continues what this series is all about. This is also it for the Sonic story structure of multiple character/team stories seeing the same events from different perspectives. From now on things get a lot more straight forward, only focusing on Sonic pretty much. This type of storytelling is definitely something iconic to the Adventure style of Sonic, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again one day. But at least these videos should get easier to make going forward lol. Sorry about the fluctuations in my voice. I really need to work on speaking more consistently to avoid that kind of thing. You can really hear the difference at the start of my videos before my voice is warmed up, and the end where it starts to get hoarse. And when I break things into different recording sessions like this, you get sudden changes. I've been trying to improve with that. But it's pretty noticeable in this one.
