If you have the latest generation F150, You may be dealing with the same problem. The dash will tell you the rear left door is ajar (when it’s not). It’s annoying as living fuck, Because when the truck thinks a door is left ajar, it leaves the bed light on. Which will kill your battery. It’ll also cause the alarm to go off!!! It’s annoying as shit. Skip all the bullshit and just take the door apart, Find the sensor to the bottom locking mechanism, Stick a piece paper clip in it, and electrical tape the shit out of it so it won’t ever move. Problem solved! Thanks Ford! Besides this problem (and the windshield wiper switch being defective) it’s a good truck.
