Although are no vehicles allowed on Mackinac Island, the city passed a resolution to allow snowmobiles in the winter. Locals use them for transportation to the ferry, grocery store, and out with friends. Sometimes, visitors ride the "ice bridge" and tour the Island for the day but it was too warm this year (2023) and an ice bridge never formed! Breathe in. Breathe out. Life is beautiful.
