5 Great Hotels to Stay in Ballarat Victoria

If you are looking for some top accommodation options in Ballarat I have compiled a list of 5 great hotels to stay in Ballarat. These are the hotels I stay at when making my previous video on the best things to do in Ballarat. In the video I look at each of these hotels, check prices – including looking at some of the comparison booking sites such as Trivago and TripAdvisor. At the end of each hotel I give my person review of each of them and I’ll let you know what I think is the best hotel in Ballarat (from the ones I did stay at). #5 Best Western Plus Ballarat Suites. A nice motel type accommodation in Ballarat. Located within walking distance of Sovereign Hill. I stayed in the King Spa Suite which obviously had a hot tub as well as shower. It was a nice sized room, with mini bar, sink and microwave oven. The Best Western offers free Wi-Fi and parking. There are some decent restaurants to eat nearby. #4 Sovereign Hill Hotel. If you want to stay near Sovereign Hill this hotel is the closet as you can get! You can walk right into Sovereign Hill. The hotel offers a nice buffet breakfast each morning. The cost (if not part of your room rate) is $19 per person (at time of making this video). The room I booked was the cheapest of all the hotels I booked in Ballarat. For rates at the Sovereign Hill Hotel please see the video. #3 Sovereign Park Motor Inn Motel. I really liked this hotel, I think it was one of the better hotels I stayed at in Ballarat. It suites both business and leisure travellers. Nicely appointed rooms and I really liked their facilities. Such as laundry area, their recreation area that includes tennis court, gym, games area, heated swimming pool and sauna. It also has the Red Lion Hotel for some good food. For prices at Sovereign Park Motor Inn please check the video. #2 Kryal Castle Accommodation. If you want to stay overnight at Kryal Castle then you can! They offer 14 rooms from suite rooms good for 2 people to family rooms to their Commander’s Quarters that can accommodate up to 10 people. #1 Craig’s Royal Hotel. If you are looking for luxury accommodation in Ballarat this boutique hotel could suit you. Craig’s Royal Hotel is a historic hotel originally built back in the 1850’s in Ballarat’s golden age and restored back its heyday. . Beautiful stylish rooms offering some of the best of Ballarat’s upmarket hotels. Choose from accommodation packages such as wine tasting with a night. Dine at their wonderful restaurant or chill out with a coffee at their laidback café. For room rates please see the video. For those interested in the paranormal – supposedly one of the rooms of the Craig’s Royal hotel is haunted.
