We are always looking for new adventures. So, when we heard that Bryan Major, aka the Crystal Collector, was holding a public dig with Avant Mining in Arkansas, we knew we had to get out there. This dig took place at the Diamond #5 location just around the corner from Ron Coleman Mining. Anticipation was high as we all arrived, and there were over 100 people in attendance. Many people rushed to the back pit nicknamed the Rhino pit to see what they could find. Though we did do some poking around in that area, we decided to spend most of our time in a fresh trench that had an exposed crystal vein just waiting to be tapped! We had an awesome time and met some great people. Max even got to spend some time with the "famous rock-HOUND" Matrix!
