This dream trailer was created to entertain the fans and in hopes that it will inspire filmakers to make it a real movie! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: Die Hard 6 dream trailer was a lot of fun to create. That’s because Bruce Willis has a lot of small budget movies that we can use to make this realistic. Fortunately his son played by Jai Courtney and his daughter played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead has similar situation, they also had action films which was perfect since I need them in action for the plot of getting them to be part of the action. The main idea is that there will be a villain that happens to be an old nemesis of John McClane. So John trains his son and daughter to learn how to fight incase they get attack. Perfect to use the scene from BIRDS OF PREY where we see Mary Elizabeth Winstead in training to imply that his father is training her. I start the trailer showing the bad guys already in action. “The only way to catch this crew is in the act” was great line to connect to the previews scene. Then Bruce Willis says he is going to New York, perfect connection to the franchise since John McClane’s hometown in New York. Another big highlight of the dream trailer is the setting of Christmas. Since Die Hard first film has the reputation of being a Christmas film, what better way to make the dream trailer about the last Die Hard film set in the same season. “Its not about stopping, its about restarting” line from BOSS LEVEL I made Lucy say to tease the idea of going back to the beginning of McClane’s life, which was the rumored film to come but it was canceled. A great line from KALEIDOSCOPE film “He betrayed me, now I have ways to make things even” which I used to make the villain talking about revenge because of John McClane betraying him in the past. This is the first time in the dream trailer series I revealed the bad guys purpose.
