This riff has been misplayed and abused for decades now. The official tab book is WRONG, as are all the tabs i have ever seen online! This is mainly concerning the double stop parts of the riff played on the A and D strings; everyone i see playing these parts has them as double stop slides, and that is simply NOT how its played. I'll even back it up with some live concert video proof! This is one of my favorite Metallica tunes from the album, so hopefully you'll get a kick out of playing it 100% accurately now. Good luck!
