Here's a quick edit to showcase Tennessee's newest bike park and first ever lift access downhill mountain biking at Ober Gatlinburg! I had an absolute blast and will definitely be going back. I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at how well the trails flowed. It was definitely a bit lacking on the technical side, but it more than made up for it with flow and speed. I'm certain as Ober progresses, there will be trail additions that will fill those technical voids and offer up even more variety and mileage. Regarding the wooden drop on the double black trail, Hellbender, we definitely put it on the shelf for another day. It's closer in comparison to the road gap at the Beech Mountain and Cupcake at Snowshoe than we expected. The landing is steep and very short. None of my immediate group was really feeling great about the speed needed, and I'm trying harder to not constantly put pressure on myself to always hit everything the first time I go somewhere new.
