Heyyy fam! Been a long time since I last posted. This summer has been a very challenging waiting season for me. It has been a season where I had to lose everything I had except my health and family. I was jobless and homeless for over a month. I lost almost 90% of my friends and people that were close to me. I was also in a terrible car accident that totaled my car leaving me in huge debt. I was at my lowest. But you see fam, the lord allowed me to walk through all these afflictions so that I get to experience him fully. He allowed everything to be stripped away from me so the my reliance and dependence is only on him. All those dark and tearful nights was so that I may be perfect and complete. As I am writing this the lord reminded me of myself exactly a year back. I was just starting my faith journey with ABBA father after a messy breakup. Now I get to experience him to the fullest in my one bedroom apartment with a job that pays well and a car I got for free through his provision. Let this testimony be a clear voice of God in whatever situation you’re at right now. Jesus is closer to us more than we think. He is always with us. He is with you right now as you are reading this text. He wants to remind you that he cares for you so deeply and wants to guide you. Just breathe and let it go. Let his spirit take control of it now. There is hope on the other side of the raging wave. I remember after my accident, I went home and laid on the floor. I didn’t know where to even start praying as had so much loss at the time. The only words I managed to say out loud was, “ Lord I surrender it to you”. Little did I know my father was preparing a garden full of lilies and roses, while I was asking for petal. Always hope and trust in the lord.
