Marin Alpine Trail XR Review | The BEST Value Enduro Mountain Bike in 2022?

The Marin Alpine Trail XR is a burly enduro mountain bike with 150mm of rear suspension and a 160mm RockShox Lyrik up front. These figures may sound quit low for a modern day enduro bike, but with its immensely slack 62.5 degree head angle and overall more extreme geometry, this bike is more than capable for enduro style riding. It also comes specced with impressive kit for £3,475 or $3,999, making this bike one of the best value enduro rigs on the market. For that price you get a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork and Super Deluxe Coil Ultimate RCT shock, many bikes that cost considerably more don’t feature that level of damper. There’s also a mix of higher level Shimano gearing finished off with Marin's own branded components. Despite this, it didn't quite take a podium position in our Enduro Bike of The Year test.
