A Day on LAKE COMO, Italy - Varenna & Menaggio ( 4K ) Located at the foot of the Alps, Lake Como is a scenic destination providing incredible sceneries of high mountains, beautiful lake and charming villages scattered all around the lake. It's the third largest lake in Italy ( after lake Garda and lake Maggiore ) and the deepest one. Lake Como is a very delightful and popular day trip destination from Milan. You can visit 2-3 places in one day, even though spending several days on the lake would be a better option.
