For all the resources in one box , visit our site and order a supply box now!! www.verkcraft.com/shop 1.FLUTTERING BUTTERFLY We tried making a fluttering butterfly today and I think we kind of did it.. it's super easy to make and kids will love it..mine kept running around with his fluttering butterfly..singing butterfly rhymes all day THINGS YOU NEED: Craft sheet Markers Studs for decoration Fevicol Scissors 2 straws ( 1 thinner than the other) Clear tape METHOD: Take a craft sheet and fold it into half Leave about an inch towards the fold and draw half butterfly Cut it out and decorate both the sides Fold the wings inwards, facing each other Take the thinner straw and cut 2 slits on one side Sandwich the butterfly from the folded side, between the slits Secure the ends of the straw with clear tape Stick the fold together with glue Make 2 long slits in the thicker straw Put the thin straw inside the thicker one, with the slits facing upwards Secure the longer slits on the wings of the butterfly Hold the straw and move the thinner straw up and down to make the butterfly flutter 2. Check out this craft frog that puts a smile on your face with his crazy moves THINGS YOU NEED: Green craft sheet Markers Scissors Glue Googly eyes METHOD: On a craft sheet, draw a face, hands and feet of a frog Cut out 7 strips of 1/2" each Cut out the face, hands and feet of the frog Place 6 strips to for a circle Stick them all to each other from the centre with the glue Form a sphere by sticking all the ends together Stick googly eyes to the face and make the features Take one strip and fold it one end over the other to form a spring Stick one end of it on top of the sphere and the other behind the face of the frog Stick the hands and feet Our crazy frog is ready to rock and roll 3. DIY CRAFT BALL What to try something cute and colourful and very simple to make? Try this DIY paper ball for decoration.. You can also make them in different sizes and colours and make your own planets and galaxy THINGS YOU NEED: Craft sheets Scissors String METHOD: Cut a circle out of white craft sheet Cut 2 circles from each coloured craft sheet in 2 sizes (1 big, 1 small) Fold all the circles into half and cut a slit from the folded side, stopping a little before the rim of the circle Take a big coloured circle and fix it on the white circle by inserting the white circle into the slit First place all the big circle cut outs -Now place the small circles infront of the big ones Make a hole in the white circle and pass a string through it for hanging 4.SUBTRACTING BALLOONS Introducing subtraction to your kids? Well, try this activity and help them learn in the form of a super fun game..they play and learn together and will love it THINGS YOU NEED: Cardboard box Markers Craft cutter White craft sheet Clear tape White board marker Plastic / wooden balls (can even use pom poms) METHOD: Take a cardboard box Trace 10 circle on it ( big enough for the ball to pass through it) Highlight them with a black marker With a craft cutter, make slits within the circle, just like pizza slices. Press them inwards with your fingers Take a small piece of white sheet Cover it with clear tape and stick it to the cardboard. This will work as your reusable board Write the numbers on it with a white board marker Place the balls on the circles. To subtract, push in that many balls through the circle slits. The remaining is your answer 5. CRAZY LITTLE MONSTERS Who wants to create super cute colourful monsters..very easy and fun to make, these little monsters will become your best friends THINGS YOU NEED: Water paints Thick white sheet Straws Paint brush Googly eyes Glue METHOD Take a white sheet With a paint brush, put a drop of colour diluted with water on the paper Blow air through the straw to spread the colour Keep changing your direction for the colour to flow all around Use different quantities of colour on paper, to make different sizes of monsters Once it dry, stick googly eyes on the color blobs turning them into cute little monsters #craftforkids #verkcraft #diycrafts
