KP2024 Kite Party Huntington

The second weekend in March is the traditional gathering for Kite Party attendees. The Kite Party website has a registration page which opens earlier in the year for signups. One of the real highlights of the Kite Party is the participation by the actual inventor of the Revolution quad line kites. The Kite Party concept is contrasted to a kite festival. The party is a non competitive fun fly and exhibition of single and multi line kites. The City of Huntington Beach and Orange County have been supportive over the decades to make this event possible. People who attend this event get to rub shoulders with the creators and popularizers of modern kites, a past time with a long history but renewed with cutting edge materials and design.
