I gotta admit. The new skill is cool and all. But goddamn, it's too difficult to say if anything actually changes for bow after the Ver.2 new skill & balance update. Like... just look at the video. Hey, hey, ARKS. It's me again. 7th June 2023 brought us the """"NGS Ver.2""" update with intriguing things such as the Creative Space, a fuck loads of QoL improvements, Toon shader to make the game feels even more weeb, and of course everyone's awaited new skills and the much needed balance patch. Bow Attack Impact is a weird one. Firing your PAs now accumulate an additional gauge which when ready, empowers the next bow Normal Attack and provide damage buff to the next PA used afterward [except CHARGED Dimensional Ray]. The shot is too quick that I have a hard time getting a proper footage, so maybe a Defi-abused Duel Quest VS Nex Aelio could do. It's a a decent skill to be honest. A 180 Potency overridden attack that takes 25 Frames to execute, leading to an extremely inflated DPS number. The next applicable PA also deals 25% more damage and can stack up real hard with your damage from gears and Critical Strike chance. The attack also provide full I-frames while recovering an ample amount of PP too. Noice! Besides, all bow PA gets roughly 4% increase damage, alongside 10% more for Elusion Plus. Cool, I guess? In exchange for the newfound power, you really need to think fast about what to do when that ding sound and gauge is up. Will you delay it with more PA until the right moment? What PA should take the buff? Will you compromise by immediately spend it in hope for another one to come up soon? Will the fight be so counter-centric that it takes over 30 seconds or more to get Bow Attack Impact ready that the skill doesn't matter at all? OR, will the boss cuck your game plan and force your hands to do the unthinkable? I think the vid has it at all of them Ls and Ws moment for Bow Attack Impact. We'll find out more about that soon when more people decide to come out with better showcase. I'll try make an educational one soon, if I can get it done before IRL stuff starts to get hectic.
