There is a slight vignetting as you rotate the eyepiece, but that is expected in these style of ZOOM optics. The rings of Saturn and the moon showed very good views in the 8"SCT and the 80mm. In the 14" I was able to separate double stars in Cassiopeia and get a good view of the Ring Nebula. Attaching a phone adapter was a bit of a pain due to the size of the barrel, and that you need to twist the barrel to change magnifications. Very minor point to bring up for those using cell phones to take pictures. For the price, this is a worthy consideration for a new telescope looking for something more than the included eyepieces.
