Earth Leakage Trip...Here's what to do. (RCD)

This is a short video to show you what to do when the Earth leakage in your house trips. This could safe you some money as I get called out allot only to find that it is an appliance or lead that is causing the earth leakage to trip. Step 1: Remove all plugs and adapters from sockets. Step 2: Try and find one breaker that's causing the earth leakage tripping Step 3: Remove the wires from the earth leakage unit to test that it's working like it should. Step 4: Remove the neutral wire one at a time and test after each wire is removed. This will narrow down the particular circuit causing the tripping. Electricity is dangerous. BE VERY CAREFUL Not all countries have earth leakages. Some are still using fuses which South Africa moved away from some 30years+ ago.
