Notre Dame Law School marked the centennial of the 19th Amendment's ratification with a series of events in January 2020. On January 24, the Law School hosted a discussion titled "How Women Have Shaped the Judiciary" with a panel of distinguished judges, three of whom are Notre Dame Law School alumni. Chief Justice Loretta Rush of the Indiana Supreme Court Judge Elizabeth Tavitas ’85, ’90 J.D. of the Indiana Court of Appeals Judge Amy Coney Barrett ’97 J.D. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit Judge Elizabeth Hurley ’95 J.D. of the Superior Court of St. Joseph County The event was co-sponsored by Notre Dame Law School's chapter of the American Constitution Society and the Notre Dame Women's Legal Forum.
