C/U typing 'RSVP By "Pigeon Post"' pans to P.S. "Please don't eat the pigeon!". She picks up letter and goes over to table, another lady closes lid on a box. C/U as man gets out another pigeon and puts identification tag and message container on its legs. M/S as it is put in box, M/S as girl writes on box. Various shots as pigeons are put in boxes and taken out to be delivered to stage and screen stars. M/S of Dick Richards, film critic, receiving his message. He writes a note of acceptance and puts it back in the container before releasing the pigeon out of the window. M/S of Sue Carson in her dressing room, she also accepts and sends it back. M/S as it flies through the air. M/S of Peter Ustinov sitting at his dressing table, the messenger walks in and hands him the invitation C/U of Ustinov writing. C/U hands writing and folding paper. C/U Ustinov, the messenger walks out with pigeon. M/S as he lets it go at stage door. L/S of the pigeon flying away. M/S Jean on roof watching for returning pigeons. Camera follows the pigeons in flight. M/S pigeon alighting on ledge. C/U of them in the loft, a man catches one and walks out. M/S of Jean reading the message from the container.
