I recently came into possession of a Wampler Paisley Drive. So, this overdrive pedal looks and sounds awesome and was designed for Brad Paisley, or at least designed with him in mind! As I got to try this pedal out with a few different guitars, it became apparent to me that it seems to sound best with a telecaster. Don't get me wrong, it sounds great with my other guitars too, but just sounds "right" with the tele. This pedal gets you all of those awesome country overdrive tones and has quite a bit of variety and versatility. Although it was fun to play with all of the settings that this pedal has to offer, I really liked the tone it offered with everything set in the middle... knobs at 12:00, contour in the middle, and presence off. It really just sounded perfect with the telecaster! If you're looking for an overdrive that's both versatile and puts out a quality sound, you should definitely check out the Wampler Paisley Drive.
