Basohil Bridge Part 1

The Basohli Bridge (or Atal Setu) was constructed in the north of India across the Ravi Rivera connecting the states of Pubjab and Jammu&Kashmir. It is a cable stayed bridge with a 350m main span and 121m side spans. The deck is two lanes wide with footpaths and made of reinforced concrete. It is supported on steel girders of 1.8m depth which are supported by stay cables at 14m spacings. The cables are anchored in 109m tall concrete towers founded on rocky outcrops. This video is a compilation of timelapse and live film of the construction process.
