Americans in Japan | Travel VLOG

Join Gabe and Maddy for part two of their incredible adventure in Japan as they finally climb Mount Fuji! This video picks up where we left off in the last vlog, where we were turned away from the climb due to a typhoon. After a restful night at our hotel, we decided to explore Fujiyoshida for the day, starting with breakfast at McDonald's and a delightful visit to Fab Cafe (https://g.co/kgs/XMdR5U5) for matcha and maple coffee. In the afternoon, we visited the iconic Chureito Pagoda and enjoyed a delicious Indian dinner. The next morning, we woke up at 3:30 am to catch the Fuji shuttle, which was delayed until 5 am. Despite the delay, we made our way to the 5th station and began our climb, taking in the breathtaking views of the Fuji Five Lakes along the way. We stopped at every rest station to collect stamps for our Fuji walking stick. Reaching the summit, we encountered challenging weather conditions but successfully made our way back down after a grueling 12-hour climb. After a much-needed rest, we headed back to Tokyo and flew home to Okinawa.
