Along the way, we’ll encounter folk singers from diverse ethnic groups, professions, and cultural backgrounds, showcasing their musical life experiences and the special bond they have with folk songs. ‘Songs of Our Lives: Songs from Sampo' is a four-part docuseries that introduces Sampo, our first featured folksinger — a young Tibetan herdsman from the grasslands of Western Sichuan. He has compiled a list of 15 folk songs and is eager to sing these songs and share his musical journey with the audience.
