So welp I actually went ahead and tried adding in some vocals to this track to give it extra flair. I’m definitely no expert working with synthv and so it takes me quite a bit longer to be satisfied with the final final result with the vocals in turn. Also yeah the boogaloo genre is pretty interesting. Although along with other genres like “latin jazz” there’s definitely some sort of spectrum of what one could call this, and the one other genre aka salsa since the latter is like in some sort of way built upon boogaloo. But its especially the repertoire yet the more of a focus on chachacha from boogaloo’s end that convinced me to put it on this side rather than salsa’s even though technically it could be both. But that’s why both genres are weird and only the chachacha ends up being the most consistent since it describes the rhythm more specifically lmao. I guess you could say thats where it all Heads to. #touhoumusic
