Seat Concepts offers the foam and seat cover to convert your stock seat. Ill show you how I remove the stock seat foam and re-install the seat concepts foam and cover. The transformation offers a slightly wider rear and slightly skinnier front which helps with reach and provides better foot contact with the ground. The new seat also eliminates the natural forward lean of the stock seat, creating a more comfortable seating position. If you have never experienced an aftermarket seat, the foam is much more firm, but will break in and conform to your specific structure. In my experience, this all leads to the rider experiencing comfort for longer periods of time. I was able to ride almost TWICE as long with an aftermarket seat with firmer foam. Seat Concepts has a long lasting reputation for a reason!! absolutely worth the money!! I FORGOT TO MENTION: When stapling the new seat cover back on, I use 5/16 staples due to the foam being thick and firm. If you are using softer or thinner foam for any project, please use 1/4".... Also, it is better to use a 20 gauge pneumatic staple gun if within your budget and skill level. I have used both and sometimes the manual hand held stapler is easier if it penetrates properly.
