Verizon posts Q3 earnings beat, but revenues come in under forecasts

Verizon posted a quarterly earnings beat of $0.03 with a quarterly profit of $1.25 per share. While revenue came in slightly below forecasts, the company also increased its full year guidance after adding a greater number of subscribers than Wall Street had expected. Revenue was essentially in line with forecasts. Verizon also increased the bottom end of its full-year earnings guidance, and added more phone subscribers than analysts had anticipated.
