Missing three-year-old Casey Hathaway is found alive and well

A three-year-old boy who has been missing for two days in freezing temperatures has been miraculously found alive and in 'good health' near the North Carolina home he disappeared from. Casey Hathaway was found caught up in thorn bushes in Craven County in eastern North Carolina on Thursday night following an extensive two day search of a wooded area.  Search crews said the little boy was soaking wet and calling out for his mother when they found him. He was found about a quarter mile from where he was last seen and authorities believe he had been moving around during the time he was missing. Casey, who has since been reunited with his parents Brittany and Chris Hathaway and older sister, suffered a few scrapes and cuts. He is currently being evaluated at a local hospital but authorities said he was 'very well' and in 'good health' given the conditions.
