Replacing the carb on a MTD Gold Yard Tractor

The MTD Gold tractor is working pretty good, but the solenoid on the crab is seized and gas is getting into the oil so I thought I'd replace the carb as a 1st step to addressing these problems. I have other ideas about why gas is getting into the oil and after changing this carb the tractor surges at high speed. I have some ideas as to why that's happening too. I'll try and address all these 'fuel delivery' concerns and issues in an upcoming video. In the meantime have a look and see what all goes on as I change the carburetor on this 17 HP Kohler Courage engine on the MTD Gold yard tractor.
