One of the top attractions in Slovenia is beautiful Lake Bled. For those visiting Lake Bled, it will appear directly out of a fairytale. Lake Bled can easily be seen by taking a day trip from Ljubljana or any other major city in Slovenia. There are three main transportation options for visiting Lake Bled. Tourists can take the bus, train, or drive themselves to Lake Bled. From Ljubljana, the trip to Lake Bled takes just over an hour. Once at Lake Bled, visitors can partake in a variety of activities. These include walking around the perimeter of Lake Bled, hiking to Bled Castle, and taking a boat ride to Bled Island. One of the best things about Lake Bled is that there is little to no cost associated with each of these activities. Much of Lake Bled can be enjoyed for free.
