Traveling Semi Portal Reclaimer moving alongside the pile to be reclaimed and designed to reclaim coke at design rate of 150 tph. The machine is carried by one traveling chariot on each side. The tracks are supported on concrete foundations, one at ground level and the other one supported by a wall. The reclaiming is accomplished by one articulated arm, fitted-out with chains and blades for dragging the material to a belt conveyor located alongside the pile. Electrical feed for power and controls is accomplished by use of one combined power and control (fiber optic) cable reels to the center of the traveling area. This arrangement includes suitable segregation between control and power wires and guarantee that will be no interferences that can endanger the correct operation of the equipment. The reclaimer can be operated from a local panel located in the operator cabin using an operator interface term.
