A very popular Ukrainian romantic song now in English for the first time. The song describes the beautiful morning surroundings of Carpathian mountains in spring when the Bird Cherry tree (in Ukrainian - Cheremshyna tree) and Red Viburnum tree (in Ukrainian - Kalyna tree) are lushly blooming with white flowers and birds are cooing, twitting and nesting, all implying a dream of love, wedding and birth of new lives. A girl in love is observing the breathtaking surrounding and waiting all day in a placid part of a garden for her darling who shepherds the flock of sheep whole day and anticipated to come to the garden to get together... Both Cheremshyna and Kalyna threes are symbolic in the Ukrainian culture. The Cheremosh river - a river in Carpathian mountains, it's name is often used in Ukrainian folk songs and stories.
