I'm sort of surprised it took me this long to do a Kiss cover. They were my intro into rock music at the young age of 8. My older brother's friend let me borrow his Kiss Dynasty 8-track tape (yes, I'm that old!), and that was it for me, I became a huge Kiss fan at a young age. This is probably their most iconic drum part, the infamous Peter Criss shuffle. The challenge with this song was not so much playing the shuffle pattern, but matching the tempo. If you put this in Pro Tools and turn on the click, you'll find this song is all over the place. By the second verse, it's already almost 2 beats behind the click. So you just have to feel it out.
