Top of Europe to Finstaraarhorn

After doing several hikes at altitude last summer, up to 3,000 meters, we decided to tackle something bigger. We chose Finsteraarhorn in the Bernese Alps, a place we are getting to know well, we have climbed several peaks around Grindenwald such as: Wetterhorn, Eiger, Dosen and others. This was a good opportunity to discover the highest railway in Europe which leads to Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, the latter located between two famous summits of the Swiss Alps: Jungfrau and Mönch, then to descend by the longest glacier in Europe: the Aletsch Glacier. According to the weather forecast, our glacier hike should have taken place in good conditions, but as everyone knows, the mountains are unpredictable.
