Space 1999 Breakaway Convention Highlights Including Countdown to September 13 1999

The weekend of September 13, 1999 was a big weekend for Space: 1999 fans. Some were lucky enough to attend the Breakaway convention in LA and see some of their favorite celebrities including Barbara Bain, Barry Morse, Nick Tate, Zeinia Merton, Prentis Hancock, Anton Philips and Johnny Byrne. One of the highlights of the convention was the dance party/countdown to midnight and the coming of September 13, 1999 which was the fictional date that the Moon was blasted out of Earth's orbit in the series. This highlight video includes introductory comments made by some of the celebrities, some clips from their talks on stage, the auctioning off the amazing Command Centre reproduction and a look at various props, toys and other things on display. Also included is the countdown to September 13, 1999.
