Autorami zdjęć są: 1) Rudolph Theodor Kuhn (1842-1900) - fotografik, syn kupca gdańskiego i działacza charytatywnego Johanna Gottfrieda Theodora. Początkowo uczył się zawodu kupieckiego i rolniczego, następnie fotografii u prof. Vogla w Berlinie, 2) Carl Kuhnd (1852-1921), 3) Heinrich van der Piepen - fotograf mieszkający w I połowie XX wieku w Malborku. Zamek w Malborku od 1309 roku był siedzibą wielkich mistrzów zakonu krzyżackiego. Odbudowany ze zniszczeń wojennych został w 1997 roku wpisany na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO. Jahrhunderts und der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts zeigen. Die Autoren der Fotos sind: 1) Rudolph Theodor Kuhn (1842–1900) – Fotograf, Sohn des Danziger Kaufmanns und Wohltätigkeitsaktivisten Johann Gottfried Theodor. Zunächst erlernte er den Kaufmanns- und Agrarberuf, dann die Fotografie bei Prof. Vogel in Berlin, 2) Carl Kuhnd (1852-1921), 3) Heinrich van der Piepen – Fotograf, der in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts in Malbork lebte. Die Burg in Malbork war ab 1309 Sitz der Großmeister des Deutschen Ordens. Nach Kriegsschäden wieder aufgebaut, wurde es 1997 in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen. ------------------ The material contains 55 unique German photos showing Malbork from the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
