Day 60 of '75 Days of Partition' - Gittanjali C. Kalro extensively documented oral history interviews amongst the Sindhi's of Mumbai. Her conversations led to transformations in her understanding of her ancestral land of Sindh and also Sindhi adaptation to Mumbai. Today, she shares her insights with us. 75 Days of Partition' is a daily micro podcast series being aired for 75 days between June 3rd, 2022 and August 17th, 2022 (except Sundays) to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Partition in 2022. The series will entail live conversation bursts with historians, film makers, authors, art-makers and other practitioners working on uncovering and understanding the history of Partition. For context, August 17th is the day the boundary commission announced the Radcliffe Line separating India and Pakistan, 75 days after the Partition Plan was announced on June 3rd, 1947.
