After studying a specific pass through desert mountains, we had to get out and have a look. What made this trip exciting was we were targeting an ancient painted image known as Hombre Amarillo or Yellow Man. This particular style of painting dates back..way back and it's probably a couple thousand years old, give or take a century. Located around Yellow Man are other paintings and carvings of different styles. And in the area is a spring. This means this particular area has had continued human involvement for a very long time. Throw in the obvious easy path through the desert mountains and you got an ancient pathway that probably has lots of stories.
