My New Honey Stand is Open for Business!! | Permaculture Farm

I've been a bee keeper for about 5 years and I love all my girls buzzing around the place pollinating not only my fruit and veg plants but that of my neighbours as well. The honey they produce is amazing. I never take too much from the hives and prefer to tuck away a few full frames of honey to save for the girls during winter or into early spring when there is not much in the way of resources for them locally. In this way I mostly avoid feeding any sugar syrup to them - better for the girls and makes for great tasting honey. After 5 years my 5 hives are quite productive and there is only so much honey you can give away and store in buckets in cupboards around the house. It's definitely well past time to get a sales stand made and located such that my local community can also enjoy this liquid gold!
