Ape Escape 2 returns yet again on this channel! Battle epic gorilla-based mechs and capture Specter! _____________________________________________________ My first experience with Ape Escape was 2. I got used to the soundtrack there, not knowing how the first game sounded. It was much later, when my brother got 3, and a friend told me how similar the music was to the original. I grew to really like 1 and 3's music, but I still like the epic sound of some of the tracks in 2. They sound much more like video game music, I think, than Terada's work (I understand the intent). I decided to use SegaPCM here because I just got overambitious with the Genesis chips. Too much orchestra and percussion to put on that hardware unless the song gets majorly arranged, and I strangely didn't feel like cramming all I could on it. So I just changed the chips early on.
