*Adam Driver will lead the off-Broadway revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s play “Hold on to Me Darling.” The show will run at the Lucille Lortel Theatre for a limited 13-week engagement. Preview performances will begin on Sept. 24 ahead of opening night on Oct. 16. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. “Hold on to Me Darling” follows a country music icon named Strings McCrane (Driver), who finds himself in an existential tailspin on learning of his mother’s death. He decides the only way out is to abandon his superstardom in favor of the simple life, so he moves back to his hometown in Tennessee.
