DRY INGREDIENTS: 15 RED CHILLIS ( BADIGE CHILLI) 2 TABLESPOONS CORIANDER SEEDS 1-1/2 TEASPOON JEERA SEEDS 1/2 TEASPOON WHOLE PEPPER 1INCH CINNAMON PIECE 4 CLOVES 2 CARDAMOM TOAST THE ABOVE GRIND IN A MIXED UNTIL FINE POWDER AND KEEP ASIDE . CURRY PASTE INGREDIENTS: HALF A FRESH COCONUT GRATED 2 MEDIUM ONION SLICED 2TABLESPOONS OF GHEE OR OIL FRY UNTIL ONION BECOMES TRANSLUCENT & GRIND IN MIXER UNTIL IT BECOMES A PASTE. GRIND HALF PORTION OF COCONUT AND REMOVE COCONUT MILK (FIRST SQUEEZE WILL BE THICK MILK) PUT THE SQUEEZED COCONUT PULP BACK IN THE MIXER WITH A 200ML OF WATER TO GET A SECOND SQUEEZE OF THON COCONUT MILK AND KEEP ASIDE. CURRY BASE INGREDIENTS: 3 MEDIUM ONION DICED... 3 TOMATOES... 3 GREEN CHILLI... 2TABLESPOON GINGERGARLIC PASTE.. 1/2 TEASPOON TUMERIC POWDER... 2STICKS OF CURRY LEAVES... 1FISTFULL OF CORRIENDER LEAVES... 1WHOLE LEMON... POTATO 4MEDIUM... IN A VESSEL ADD 4TABLESPOONS OF OIL & 2 TABLESPOONS OF GHEE. ADD 2 BAY LEAVES... ADD 2 TABLESPOONS OF GINGER -GARLIC PASTE... FRY UNTIL THE SMELL OF THE PASTE GOES OUT.. ADD 2GREEN CHILLIS& 2STICKS OF CURRY LEAVES...ADD DICED ONIONS FRY UNTIL TRANSLUCENT ... ADD TOMATOES DICED... FRY UNTIL THE MIX IX WELL MASHED... ADD POTATO FRY WELL ... ADD CHICKEN COOK FOR 2 MINS... NOW ADD THE DRY MASALA & STIR WELL AND LET IT COOK FOR ABOUT 5MINS ... NOW ADD THE THIN COCONUT MILK (2nd SQUEEZE)... COOK FOR ANOTHER 5MINS... NOW ADD CURRY PASTE OF COCONUT & ONION MIX PASTE LET IT COOK FOR 5 MINS ... ADJUST THE CURRY CONSISTENCY ... ADD WATER IF YOU NEED MORE CURRY...
