MANDALORIAN Flightsuit | Part one

Patterns for the soft parts are almost finished and I will talk about them in a separate video. THIS IS JUST A BREAKDOWN VIDEO OF THE STEPS. I WILL MAKE A SEPARATE VIDEO ME SEWING THESE PARTS.(if I get enough requests to make a video of the process) I'm in the process of making a website and it's going to include a webshop that will have pdf files of templates/patterns for you to purchase. But if you want to purchase patterns before the website is launched, you can just send me an email for more information: [email protected] ========================================= Part 2 of making your own Mandalorian/Din Djarin costume and in this video we are focusing on the soft parts mainly the flightsuit, waist band and neck cover. I split this video into two parts since it would have gotten to long to include all the parts in one video. This part is the upper flightsuit(shirt) and the waist band. The pants and neck cover is going to be in part two. The flakvest will also be a separate video since it's a big project by itself so that's why I'm splitting up all the soft parts into different videos. I made all these patterns from scratch using some clothes I had at home as reference so I got the right shape and measurements. But this process is something that you don't have to figure out since it will all the done for you already in pattern form. =======TOOLS AND MATERIALS====== - FABRIC: Cotton twill. Preferably a chocolate brown shade or a darker cooltone brown. I only found a sand beige cotton twill so I had to dye the fabric. I will explain more about that in part two! - Thread: TERA 40 thread in white. A very strong thicker thread that is used for sewing boat enclosures(båtkapell in Swedish) - Singer sewing machine - Fabric adhesive by CASCO - White pencil for drawing patterns on fabric - Ruler - Measuring tape ==================================== Hope you enjoy this video and find it helpful for your own Mandalorian costume!
