Power refers to the Monopoly of Force . "Power is defined as a possibility to influence others." The use of power has evolved over the centuries. Gaining prestige, honor, and reputation is one of the central motives for gaining power in human nature. Power is an attribute of particular actors in their interactions, as well as a social process that constitutes the social identities and capacities of actors.
