Yip publicly accused Jung Myung-seok at a press conference in South Korea last year. The JMS' long-standing misconduct has also been documented in a Netflix documentary, which has garnered attention in Hong Kong. HK01 interviewed several former members of JMS who joined at different times. They recounted their experiences joining the church and how the JMS has been evangelizing and infiltrating student organizations in Hong Kong over the past 20 years. One female member was asked to take formal photos, but fortunately, not revealing or sensual ones. HK01's investigation found that in 2018, the JMS established the Tin Wan Company Limited and purchased an industrial unit in Kwai Chung as their headquarters. Former member Maple Yip, who spoke out against the leader's alleged sexual assault, was also a shareholder. The company's current directors are core members of the JMS in Hong Kong, who were given the names "Master Wisdom Star" and "Master Sweetheart" by the leader.
