Today on JD Cars we are installing an FTP BMW F2X F3X Aluminum Charge Pipe Kit. This aluminum charge pipe kit from FTP is a must if you plan on tuning your car. Somewhat surprisingly, the stock charge pipe from BMW is constructed entirely of plastic. As one could imagine, this isn’t the most durable material to use for a major engine component… The stock charge pipe commonly tears, or even explodes, in cold temperatures/when under high pressure. Overall, this wasn’t a terribly challenging installation. It is time consuming and can be frustrating getting your hands in such a tight space - just be patient. Thanks for watching.
