Come with me as I solo hike the Cascade Falls Trail in the Jefferson National Forest in North Central Virginia. This is my top hike of the year so far. There are cascades the entire hike, with amazing man-man concrete steps and trails. And the waterfall at the end is well worth it. This trail is one of the most beautiful trails I've ever been on. I got up at 5am and arrived around 730am, and man was it worth it. I was the first car there and had the waterfall at the end all to myself. It pays to get up early and go to these places.
